UGS Dashboard is built into this fork of the Universal G-Code Sender Platform app. Download the Platform build for your system below.
Experimental, and only Windows has been tested
The nightly release is rebuilt automatically every time the fork's master branch changes, so it always holds the latest work. It is not a tested, stable release.
So far only the Windows build has been tested. The Linux and macOS builds are produced automatically but have not been tested at all, so they may not work.
Get the latest build
Open the nightly release on GitHub, then pick the file for your system from the Assets list. Java is included, so you don't need to install it separately.
| System | File | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Windows | win64-ugs-platform-app-….zip | Tested |
| Linux | linux-x64-ugs-platform-app-….tar.gz (or linux-aarch64-… for ARM) | Not tested |
| macOS | macosx-aarch64-ugs-platform-app-….dmg for Apple silicon, or macosx-x64-… for Intel | Not tested |
Windows
- Unzip the file.
- Open the
ugsplatform-winfolder, thenbin, and runugsplatform64.exe.
Windows may warn that it doesn't recognize the app, because the build isn't code-signed.
Linux
Extract the archive and run the launcher:
tar -xzf linux-x64-ugs-platform-app-*.tar.gz
./ugsplatform-linux-x64/bin/ugsplatformNot sure which file you need? Run uname -m. x86_64 means the x64 file, and aarch64 means the aarch64 file.
macOS
Open the .dmg and drag the app to your Applications folder. macOS may say the app is from an unidentified developer. If so, right-click it and choose Open.
Turn on the Dashboard
Once UGS is running, turn on the Dashboard in Options → UGS → Sender Options. See Getting started.
Try it without installing
The live demo runs the Dashboard against a simulated machine in your browser. Nothing connects to real hardware, so it is a safe way to look around and try the layouts.
Staying up to date
The fork merges the upstream Universal G-Code Sender project into its master branch every week, so upstream fixes and features arrive in the nightly build after that. If something doesn't work, please report it.
